My daughter plays steel pans for North Tyneside Steel Band, and has performed on TV and radio, at WOW, europe's biggest free musical festival attracting over 250,000 people, the Dome, and numerous other venues.
She is also a member of Steel Spirit, a small group who perform on river cruises, weddings, parties etc. and with other members has provided tuition to school groups and at workshops (For further information about Steel Spirit, email via this site.)
Last year she was invited to play with Ebony Steel Band, Europe's leading band, at the Notting Hill Carnival, and at the world championships in Trinidad where the band was 4th and the highest placed european band.
