Hello - hope you like my website.
I've been playing the sax for only 3 years, and started in my late 40's - boy am I getting old !!! I like playing though I'm not very good. I take lessons twice a week at the Northern Music Centre in Newcastle.
I play a 1943 Conn 6M Alto with a Runyon Mouthpiece and Vandoren Reeds. I also have a 1943(ish) King Zephyr Tenor for which I am trying to find the right mouthpiece.
I live on the coast at Tynemouth in the UK. (Checkout this excellent site). I am married and have two grown up (almost) daughters. They are interested in fitness and steelpans - believe me you don't want to live next door to us. Be sure to check our pages for fitness and steelpans before you leave.
I've recently started a health programme following surgery, and am becoming fitter by the week. I'd be pleased to hear of any exercise/diet tips you have.
I like the music of Charlie Parker, and try to take in live jazz as often as I can.
